About Us

The undergraduate extension of the School of Communication at Simon Fraser University.

The CMNSU is a student organization that helps identify and promote the academic, intellectual, recreational, and career interests of SFU Communication students.

We’re responsible for running large-scale industry-tier events while simultaneously running our own functioning media team, creating blogs, podcasts, and more. All of which are supported by a consistent high standard of creative production and public outreach to match.

THE 5 DEPARTMENTS

Internal is responsible for the overall leadership, vision, and functioning of the club.

Events is responsible for planning and executing successful events.

Marketing focuses on public outreach, external communications, and social media management.

Communications runs Cherry Pit, the podcast and blog, as well as sponsor and industry outreach.

Creative produces graphics for social media, the website, slide decks, logos, and all creative work.
