It can be nice to take on less responsibility and chill during the summer. But if you find yourself too relaxed, finding things to do during sunny days might seem somewhat challenging. I wanted to offer you some options that won’t burn your pocket nor leave you unsatisfied.

Surrey Fusion Festival presented by Coast Capital

BIPOC Startup Spotlight and Summer Social

Hosting this event is Surge and the BIPOC Sustainability Collect. Find yourself meeting and conversing with like minded people whilst enjoying the sun. Lately, climate change and environmental issues are a constant dialogue among people.

This event will feature BIPOC speakers from local environmental startups. Connect and learn more about the activities of the communities concerned about sustainability on all levels of experience and within the sector.

Writers Showcase

Lovers of books, this is an event for you. Hosting Crime Writers of Canada, a national non-profit organisation for Canadian mystery and crime is the Central library. Joining the event are talented and emerging local authors Karen Dodd, Winona Kent, Ken MacQueen, Yvonne Maximchuk and David Rabinovitch.
