Industries in Motion (IIM) is the CMNSU’s most anticipated event of the year.

Previously known as Careers in Communication (CIC), this event was first initiated by the CMNSU team of 2013 and continues to grow today. Every year, we aim to provide a space for students, whether Communication majors or not, to learn more about the vast world of Communication beyond university.

Our attendees get the chance to hear from, and speak to, professionals currently working in various positions at a plethora of esteemed companies and organizations. From journalism, public relations, marketing to content creation, our goal is to offer a diverse set of industry professionals that can provide IIM guests with the opportunity to learn about the exciting career options open to them after graduation. 

Those with experience in the industry can teach a lot, and we strive to provide our peers with an educational experience they might not be able to achieve in class during their undergraduate degrees.
