Let’s look back at our first event of the year, Evolve Rebooted: The Zoom Series! This year’s Evolve was special in many ways, after all, it was the first virtual event for CMNSU! In keeping with the theme, we “evolved” and rebooted the entire event into a 3-day Zoom summit with different topics of dialogue for every day.

There are so many articles, youtube videos, books and other content areas that can give us recommendations on how to become more sustainable, but today I wanted to share with you just 10 that I have incorporated into my life without too much effort.

Inspired by Beyonce’s hit song, “Crazy in Love”, Crazy, in Love is my poem describing the confusion, pain and angst I felt while in a toxic relationship. There is a double meaning attached to being crazy in love - one in which desire and infatuation blinds you from the truth, and the other being real, true love. I hope you are able to see both sides in my articulation.

Spring 2021 Course Enrolment is coming up soon and we know it can be overwhelming trying to figure out which courses you want to take for your breadth requirements and electives, so CMNSU put together a list of courses that will be offered coming up this Spring and reasons why we liked them and/or believe that they enhance a degree in Communication!

Evolve Rebooted: The Zoom Series was the CMNSU’s first online event, as well as the first event of the year. Evolve being “Rebooted” was to reflect these unprecedented times we are finding ourselves in. The event is rebooted because it was held completely virtual, but also because we wanted to focus on the importance of being students of communications and how we can manifest great change academically, socially, and personally.

Staying at home has become the new normal this year, why not make it your sanctuary? Here are some tips from Kat on how to make the best out of your work from home lifestyle!
